on a cold, windy, stormy saturday afternoon, a bunch of us gays went to cheer on our brothers and sisters that were competing in this year’s gay rodeo. lest you think that a “gay rodeo” is not a “real rodeo,” please be informed that it is. mostly this means that both gay and real rodeos include a lot of animal abuse, terrifying injuries, and absurdity.

just so you know, the combination of terrible corn chips, canned cheese, and bbq sauce is remarkably gross and delicious!

this absolutely genius piece of marketing is the flyer for a now defunct gay night that used to take place at santa fe’s only roller skating rink, the rockin’ rollers event arena. with a concept as amazing as this, I can’t believe it didn’t last longer than 2 months! this does not bode well for the coolness quotient of santa fe’s gay community.
